Autism Therapy / Counselling
in Brighton & Hove

Therapy for autistic children and young people (aged 7-27) who are experiencing mental health difficulties such as feeling anxious or low in mood.

I have a masters in creative arts therapy and a post graduate certificate in psychological therapies for autistic children and young people.

My approach is a mixture of talking therapy and creative arts therapy and is adapted to the specific need of each young person. I offer a neuroaffirmative and neuroinclusive space.

The purpose of therapy is to improve the young person's internal wellbeing. The intention is not to make the young person 'less autistic' or to encourage them to repress their autistic traits. In fact a young person may present as 'more autistic' as they unmask and gain self understanding.
